Ocean Surf RV Park-Camping is a family owned business founded in 1964 by Jean-Claude Belliveau, teacher, natural mentor and visionary, with innate entrepreneurial qualities. In the beginning, Ocean Surf was a tent field with limited services and facilities. As the demand for RV camping increased and the beach goers flocked to the area, new trends in the RV-Camping industry evolved. As the years went by, the park was transformed to include a recreation community center, a playground, new washrooms, shower houses, laundromats as well as new sites with full services for seasonal and overnight campers.
In the year 2000, with the RV-Camping industry in full evolution, a major face lift and site reorganization started on the park grounds to offer our guests more space on their site and to create spaces for the biggest RVs on the market. In 2009, the decision to expand the park was made. Since 2011, a major expansion has taken place at the park on an adjacent piece of land. These sites are designed for the latest camper’s trends, with site sizes varying between 75 and 80 feet long and 35 to 40 feet wide. These sites are equipped with 30/50 amps, wireless internet and a relaxing atmosphere.
In 2015, Ocean Surf RV-Camping was recognized as the “Business of the Year” by the Greater Shediac Chamber of Commerce.
In 2015, a new heated salt water pool was added. During the summer of 2017, a second playground was installed. Also, a beach shuttle within the park is available.
In 2018, a soccer field and large pull through sites were added. Ocean Surf RV Park was chosen as the 1st place winner for Best Swimming Pool in the Good Sam Park Best Feature Contest (North America).
For the last 50 years, our family has rejoiced in greeting guests at Ocean Surf. One unique aspect of Ocean Surf: Many guests that have stayed at Ocean Surf RV Park-Camping tell stories of when they camped here as young kids during the 60s and 70s. These kids are now adults and have their own children who have also stayed here at the park. Long lasting memories have been created and are multi generational; which they will happily share with you. Ocean Surf RV Park-Camping is a gathering place for families and friends reuniting each summer to share and create new memories. Familiar faces meet from afar, year after year, to be charmed by the enjoyable atmosphere and warm welcome of the park.
